The New England Rural Health RoundTable carries on a number of activities throughout the year. Our Photo Gallery provides a visual overview of the RoundTable's most recent events and activities.
Annual Symposium
The center piece of activity is the Annual Symposium which is conducted in the fall of each year. The symposium brings together individuals from a wide range of backgrounds to learn more about new developments in the field as well as network with others who have an interest in rural health.
The symposium features speakers from various organizations in New England who share their experience and knowledge as well as speakers who give updates on federal budgets and national trends.
Education & Training
In addition to the annual symposium, the RoundTable is involved in producing educational events throughout the year. These regional training events may be conducted solely by the RoundTable or be in collaboration with other organizations.
Featured Training Events:
Regional training events provide an opportunity to maximize the use of resources by centralizing opportunities rather than having events repeated in a number of states. The geography of New England makes a regional approach to training opportunities more cost effective. |
